I’ve always wanted to create a project with the idea of giving it away to a group of kids maybe at a school or some other kids group. So what better group of people to draw from on for a project than here at Houston Makes.

So here is the short and skinny of my idea:

Let’s build a game and distribute it. Perfect opportunity to practice taking and idea and bringing it to market. Also it can provide exposure to the group along with the those involved.

The game is a simple memory game consisting of ~ 20 tiles which half have a matching image on them. Flip them over then take turns trying to find the matching piece. Placed

Type of skills we will need:
    Woodworker – (Your’s truly)
    Graphic Artist –
    Some to market it
    Photos/Video
    Laser Engraving

This is something were I would like to see the group takes control of it’s direction.

So if your interested, let me know. When the team is assembled we can create a slack channel and get to rock n rolling!

    Cheers,

    Jeremy
